Welcome to Tsujita LA Artisan Noodles, a haven for ramen enthusiasts nestled at 2050 Sawtelle Blvd, Los Angeles. With an unwavering commitment to authentic Japanese flavors, Tsujita has carved out a niche in the bustling culinary landscape of LA, especially known for its mouthwatering Tsukemen and ramen dishes.

The inviting atmosphere at Tsujita is a blend of modern and traditional Japanese dining. As you step inside, you'll quickly get swept away by the aromatic scent of simmering broth and perfectly cooked noodles. It’s a smaller venue, which often means a cozy yet lively vibe, as patrons eagerly await their turn to indulge in a bowl of pure umami delight. While you may have to stand in line for a bit—the anticipation is definitely part of the experience—rest assured that every bite will make it worthwhile.

At Tsujita, the highlight of the menu is undeniably its Tsukemen. The Tsukemen ($12.45) serves up a unique dipping style noodle, perfectly paired with their signature broth, which is lovingly simmered for a remarkable 60 hours. If you're looking to elevate your dining experience, try the Ajitama Tsukemen ($13.45) for a touch of delicately flavored egg, or indulge in the Charsiu Tsukemen ($16.95) adorned with tender, melt-in-your-mouth charsiu slices. Many have lauded the dipping broth—the right thickness with an impactful fishy note—making for a refreshing choice on a hot day.

If ramen is more your style, dive into the Tonkotsu Ramen ($11.95) with its rich, pork-based broth, artfully enhanced with kikurage mushrooms, green onions, and just the right amount of charsiu. For spice lovers, the Killer Ramen ($11.95) adds a fiery kick to the mix thanks to its spicy flare, while the Vege Ramen caters to those preferring plant-based options.

Don't forget to complement your meal with their delicious side dishes. The Charsiu Don ($5.99) or the Spicy Tuna Don ($5.99) makes for the perfect addition, featuring quality fish and tender meat atop a fluffy bed of rice.

While Tsujita is widely celebrated for its flavors, some reviews express a few concerns regarding menu variety and the wait. Customers like Thamiris Neves did face limitations in protein options, while others noted changes in service and food quality. Yet, fellow diners like Gavin “GJM_reviews” Meichelbock enthused about the unique flavors and textures, despite minor preferences such as egg doneness.

In a city overflowing with ramen spots, Tsujita LA Artisan Noodles is a destination that deserves a spot on your culinary checklist. Whether you’re a seasoned noodle lover or new to the world of Tsukemen, Tsujita aims to deliver unforgettable flavors and an authentic ramen experience, one bowl at a time.

Visited the place for the first time to have lunch with friends on a Saturday. Place is small so there is a little bit of a wait, but no problem. I love noodles, however, I do not eat pork, so for me it was an issue that this place did not offer options of bowls with other kind of protein or won’t even allow you to replace the protein. I had to order the tonkotsu ramen, ask them to remove the pork and order chicken on the side. It sucks that you have to pay more for it. Food tasted fine, nothing special. Servers seemed a little impatient with clients. We had a hard time with the countertop of the bar where we’re sitting too. I don’t know if it’s just the kind of material or it was really sticky and dirty, but our dishes kept getting stuck and one of my friends even flipped her bowl when trying to move it on the counter. Price was a little hight too for what you get. Lastly, I ordered a Chashu Bowl to go and when I got home my husband noticed they did not add the egg that’s supposed to come with the food. That was the last straw for me. Unfortunately I did not appreciate the experience in general and won’t be going back.

Best place to have authentic Japanese Tsukemen- dipping ramen. The restaurant is neat, waiting line could get long. The noodles are perfectly cooked, and dipping source is very tasty. For sure will go back.

Used to be there all the time, this time I got really disappointed. They used to have the pickles, the chili oil on the table, but not anymore. I had the chicken char siu instead of pork, only three pieces…the chicken texture was awful. It was dry and non flavorful at all. To be honest, the price went up all the way but the food quality was not improved at all. Very disappointed…Don’t think will be there anymore…

The dipping ramen is a great choice for a hot day. The pork had a great flavor and the right amount of fat but still had a soft bite. The dipping broth is more fishy than the traditional tonkotsu and also thicker — if you are into that. My one knock is that the egg was hard boiled, no runny yolk — but that’s a nitpick.

My friend took me here after realizing that I'd never tried tsukemen before. Right now, they're renovating their shop so they have a smaller location across the street. There was a line of people waiting to get in, so we got our name on the waitlist. On a Friday night, we only waited about 15-20 minutes before getting in. Once we were in, our order was taken very quickly and we had our food before we knew it. The food was pretty carb + protein heavy - you got a lot of noodles, pork, and egg with not too many veggies. Everything was tasty, although I wish the broth was a little warmer (it came pretty lukewarm). A good introduction to tsukemen, and I like it!

Small place with great noodles. I had the cool noodles with an accompanying bowl of warm dipping sauce. The sauce was rich, savory and not too salty. My wife had tonkatsu ramen, which had a lovely light broth.

The silky ramen is delicious and has a truly unique flavor. However, the Sunrise and Sunset ramens are less impressive—they taste more like vegetable soup. The place is often packed, and while the service is fast, it could definitely be cleaner.

Really great spot! Ramen and dipping noodles were really tasty. Chashu is money! Only reason for not 5 stars is the price. About $77 for a beer, two ramens and a juice, but it is LA
